| YOUTH OFFICER TRAINING | |
|
Being a member of a club is a very interesting and rewarding experience for any youth. A successful club holds the interest of its members by doing worthwhile things through teamwork and group action. The success of the club depends largely on its officers. It is an honor to be selected as a club officer and like most honors, being an officer carries certain responsibilities. If a club is to succeed, every officer must know their responsibilities and be well prepared to carry them out.
If you are an officer in your club, whether it’s 4-H, Scouts, FFA, or school or church groups, then this workshop is for you. Youth Officer Training will be held on Saturday, November 18th from 10:30am-Noon at the Courthouse community room in Olivet.
This interactive, fun-filled workshop will include Parliamentary Procedure Jeopardy, individual officer training, making motions and mock meeting skits and games.
There is no cost for this event, however pre-registration is recommended. Call the Hutchinson County Extension Office at 387-4205 for more details
