CATTLE FEEDING SEMINAR APRIL 4TH

The Opportunities Farm rural Lennox will be the site of a cattle feeding seminar on Tuesday, April 4th.  The 3-hour event will begin at 1:30pm.

 

Featured Speakers:  Steve Pohl, SDSU Extension Ag Engineer-cattle feeding systems comparison, tour a state of the art cattle feeding facility; Matt Dierson, SDSU Extension Risk & Business Management Specialist - cattle market pricing and outlook; Matthew Loewe, Opportunities Farm Manager - overview of cattle feeding operation; Zach Rada, Union County Extension Farm Management Educator - livestock risk protection (LRP); John Keimig & Jeff Lounsbery, Extension Livestock Educators - Hutchinson and Lincoln Counties - ration formulation and bunk management considerations.
